Seeking a Second Opinion?
Choosing a financial adviser is an important decision, particularly when your financial affairs have become more complex or you feel your existing arrangements no longer reflect where you are today.
Many of the clients I work with already have pensions, investment portfolios, offshore bonds or QROPS in place and are not necessarily starting from scratch, but are instead seeking a more strategic second opinion.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with clients reviewing existing arrangements and taking over the ongoing management of portfolios, offshore bonds and pension structures where clients felt they wanted more proactive advice, clearer planning or a relationship that better aligned with their long-term objectives.
Whether you are looking for reassurance that your current arrangements remain appropriate or exploring whether improvements could potentially be made, the starting point is understanding your existing position and what you ultimately want your wealth to achieve.
For many clients, seeking a second opinion is not about dissatisfaction with a previous adviser, but simply recognising that financial circumstances, tax rules and long-term objectives evolve over time.
This is particularly common with legacy offshore bonds, QROPS, pension arrangements and investment portfolios that may have been established many years ago and not comprehensively reviewed since.
My role is to help bring clarity, structure and strategic oversight to those arrangements, assessing whether they remain aligned with your objectives, tax position, attitude to risk and broader financial planning goals.
Even where no changes are ultimately required, many clients find value simply in gaining an experienced independent perspective and greater confidence around the direction of their planning.
